Music Ministry

 Praise Band Thursdays 7:30PM

The Praise Band ministers at the contemporary service bringing the Word through song. Our instrumentation varies from week to week. We incorporate guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and singers, blending together, to make music that honors and praises God.

Wednesdays 7:00-9:00PM

The Gospel Choir at St. Andrew UMC is a volunteer group of dedicated singers who support the Sunday traditional 11:00 am liturgy from September through June.  In addition, this group also presents major choral works each year along with instrumental ensembles. The choir also sings at a number of fun community and church activities. The only criteria for membership are a strong love of music and the ability to make a critical commitment to rehearse weekly and sing each Sunday. The current members are a great group of people, and we would be pleased to have a chance to expand our membership.  If you are interested in joining or even exploring membership, please contact the church office.

Audio/Visual

The mission of the Audio/Visual ministry is to serve as an integral part of worship by providing quality sound and visual effects while uplifting the name of God. If you are interested in serving, stop by the sound room after service and we will be glad to give you more information about this vital ministry.

Handbell Choir Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00PM

We come together from diverse backgrounds to utilize our talents, to enjoy fellowship with one another, and to build a community centered in our Christian faith. As a choir, we spread joy and peace through our music-making. We are unique, representing a different and wonderful type of music ministry here at St. Andrew. We develop our musical skills and ability to work with each other as team players.  Our mission is to create music so that we can effectively minister to our church family and to inspire and kindle spirituality in all who hear us.
