Summary:

If you watch TV shows that have staying power, they often have an unnamed character as part of the cast — their community. Each individual of the cast is significant, but the magic happens as an ensemble — their community. Even then, the community of characters engage further with those around them. Sometimes, the engagement is funny, other times deeply meaningful, but hardly ever only with their own bubble. As a church we are a community, but we are most like Christ when we extend that community beyond the church doors.
